EQUITY Responds: WID Answers Your Questions

Q: I have been working with Veterans with disabilities for years but only recently heard about the area of asset building for our nation's wounded warriors.  Where can I get more information about asset building specifically for people with disabilities?  Are there classes or events I could attend?

Yes, in-fact, your timing couldn't be better.  On November 11, 2009 the Sargent Shriver Center and World Institute on Disability are sponsoring a special webinar on asset building for people with disabilities.  The national convening of thought leaders in the field will include service providers, leading financial educators and information about the cutting edge research going forward in the field.  This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the topic from the nation's leading experts in the disability asset building arena. For more information about the event or to register for this outstanding opportunity visit: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/302741482

Real-time captioning will be available for all participants.
