Talking About Abuse and Disability: Resources Supporting Adults with Disabilities

Here you can watch short educational movies, one for disabled people and one for service providers, that are available below. They explore examples of different kinds of abuse, encourage disclosure, and tell about ways to get help. We also provide downloadable brochures and bookmarks for people with disabilities, including a plain language brochure for people with developmental disabilities or limited reading. Additionally, there are links to other organizations working on issues of abuse prevention. All of these materials are also available in the Spanish section of the CAPE website.
