Project Videos

One of the most important and successful activities of WID’s international projects has been stimulating the creation of new public education videos by disabled persons in order to break down social isolation. For this latest project, each team created unique disability videos and PSAs promoting inclusive education and hosted disability film exhibitions, in which new disability films from around the world were screened for the general public, some even shown on national television in these countries. These project generated disability film exhibitions were attended by almost 10,000 people, and WID’s disability NGO partners continue to use these disability films to educate people about social tolerance, non-discrimination and a wide variety of disability issues.
