Appendices A through D

The appendices describe major features of PAS programs in the U.S. in the aggregate and in relation to funding source. Data is based on national surveys conducted in 1985 and 1989. Appendix A includes profiles of each Medicaid Personal Care Option program. Appendix B summarizes the effect of funding source on the 1984 PAS program data. Appendix C looks at the effect of funding source on 1988 program data. Appendix D examines the changes that occurred in programs between 1985 and 1989.
